Hotel De La Paix is a charming retreat in the heart of the picturesque town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. The warm welcome from the friendly manager set the tone for a delightful stay. The central location made it easy for us to explore the local amenities and even catch the thrilling finish of a Tour de France stage. The free Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TV were convenient touches, while the private bathroom with a bathtub provided a relaxing space after a day of adventure. The housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout.One of the highlights was the proximity to the ski slopes at La Mongie, just 30 minutes away. After a day on the slopes, returning to the hotel with good heating in the rooms was a luxury. The big bathtub in our room was a perfect spot for a post-ski warm-up, adding to the overall charm of the stay. To the fantastic location and comfortable amenities, the hotel's 4.5 km distance from a golf course provided another leisure option. The continental breakfast was a delightful start to each day, with a variety of options to fuel our adventures. Hotel De La Paix provided a welcoming and convenient base for our exploration of the stunning Pyrenees region.
